Dear I.L.M. (Intellect-Love-Mercy) Foundation supporter(s)…
Since 1998 Intellect-Love-Mercy (ILM) Foundation has made significant strides with its community programming in Southern California and abroad. We demonstrate our mission through community organizing, youth mentorship, and we stand as an advocate for the homeless. ILM’s unique approach has not only mentored its own community during a charitable event. As a result, Volunteers are returning with their own organizations, providing us new insight and professional experiences that further our mission to develop new leaders.
During covid, we accepted the challenge to remain an #Essential unit. We understood the assignment while most were safe-at-home, but the unhoused community still needed assistance, so we were empowered to continue the work.
Our 2020-21 year delivered and accomplished the following 5 points…
- Delivered over 3,200 masks, hygiene products, and essential gift bags across Southern California.
- Generated jobs for the Skid Row Brigade, in collaboration with Mayor Eric Garcetti’s Homeless Department.
- Re-imagined Humanitarian Day for a pandemic distribution of essential items (See Video.)
- Served over 200 families with food boxes during the month of Ramadan.
- Raised funds inner city youth, in South Los Angeles to receive computers for online education.

I.L.M. Foundation’s mission is to teach life skills to economically underprivileged youth and adults so that social ills are replaced with opportunities for intellectual and economic empowerment.
