The I.L.M. (Intellect-Love-Mercy) Foundation and its board, are very thankful to have you as Leaders and Volunteers, of Humanitarian Day. The COVID19 Pandemic has interrupted our lifestyles and organizational programming. We have been waiting patiently observing, so we can apply the best strategy for HDAY 2020.
Due to social distancing, we are unable to host our annual charitable events. Instead we are planning a “Humanitarian Day Action” an action that delivers charity for those unhoused or sheltered. We are thinking in July, a one day event that will involve our whole SoCal team. More details will follow shortly.
God Willing on Sunday May 17th, we will host Humanitarian Day (HDAY) in virtual space, as an “Meet the People of Humanitarian Day.” It will feature HDAY’s volunteers, organizations, institutions who support humanitarian projects and hopefully a special guest or two. We are planning an online educational and entertaining (Edu-tain-ment) experience. We will use virtual space, to highlight the People of Humanitarian Day.
Thank you for having patience with us but it took some time to reach the month of Ramadan, pray, and then observe and hear our people for clarity. The safety of our volunteers and leaders is ILM’s first foremost priority.
The ILM (Intellect-Love-Mercy) Foundation is a Community Based Organization (501c3.) Our mission is “teach life skills to economically underprivileged youth and adults so that social ills are replaced with opportunities for intellectual and economic empowerment.”
