Question: Why is a Humanitarian Day Important?

Answer: Ramadan is the most important month of the year for Muslims. It is a month of fasting, mercy, unity, forgiveness, and being generous. Every good deed in Ramadan is rewarded more than in any other time of the year.

Ramadan intensifies the desire for Muslims to perform dignified acts of charity. Humanitarian Day directs this motivation to provide those unhoused with essential bags filled with daily necessities, medical, and dental screenings. HDAY is proof that we can work together in service to others regardless of race, religion, status, and geographical location. Join us put our faith into action and convert one day into a life mission. #unitythourghdiversity
