After attending the White House Eid (July 21,) where President Barack Obama acknowledged America’s Muslim community as apart the country’s moral voice and described how historic and valuable Al Islam is seen throughout American history.
ILM’s Director Umar Hakim and Andrea Hodos of NewGround Muslim-Jewish Partnership for Change, then spent their next two weeks at Cambridge University for the Ariane de Rothschild Fellowship (AdRF.) Out of 500 applicants, our brother was selected to join 24 fellows from around world, as AdRF’s 2016 cohort. The fellows would engage an exciting program on, Intercultural Leadership and Entrepreneurship Innovation which includes intense social science studies, academic lectures, and interfaith dialogue throughout Cambridge and London, England.
