Essential Bags

These bags are created based on the needs of the community. The item list includes a hygiene kit, towel, socks, tee shirt, toilet paper, underwear, body wipe, blanket, beanie, gloves, school supplies, water, and snacks.

The estimated cost of each bag is about $50.

The 2022 USDA report found that 44.2 million people lived in households that had difficulty getting enough food to feed everyone in 2022. The rates of hunger for Black and Latino households were both more than double the rates for white households.
